Langhe Nebbiolo DOC “Marchese Dalmasso”

The Langhe Nebbiolo DOC “Marchese Dalmasso” represents the purest, most direct, and sincere version of Piedmontese Nebbiolo: a wine that encapsulates the poetry of the Langhe hills with an elegant, harmonious, and immediately captivating approach.

Obtained from selected dedicated parcels, it expresses the authentic identity of the grape variety through tannic finesse, vibrant freshness, and extraordinary drinkability, fully respecting the winemaking tradition of the region.

Tasting Notes

  • Color: Bright ruby red, with garnet reflections that convey the elegance of young Nebbiolo.

  • Aroma: Broad and refined bouquet, with notes of raspberry, red currant, crisp cherry, and pomegranate, intertwined with floral hints of rose and violet. The profile is completed by light spicy nuances of pink pepper and licorice, with balsamic and herbal notes evolving.

  • Taste: Embracing, silky, and well-balanced. The tannins are fine, already smooth yet present, supported by a linear freshness that accompanies the sip. Persistent, harmonious, and delicately spicy finish, with great clarity.

Food Pairings

Perfect with tajarin, ravioli del plin, and risottos, it naturally pairs with white meats, light roasts, cured meats, and semi-aged cheeses.

It is the ideal wine for those wishing to discover the essence of Nebbiolo in an elegant and accessible version, without the monumental structure of great wines for long aging. Serve at 16–18 °C to best appreciate its finesse and balance.
