Tasting Notes

  • Color: Intense red that, with evolution, shifts towards garnet tones.

  • Aroma: Black cherry and ripe plum blend with enveloping hints of dried figs, jam, and dark chocolate; elegant notes of sweet spices, vanilla, and licorice enrich the aromatic profile.

  • Taste: Soft and velvety, with extraordinary harmony between the sweetness of dried grapes and the lively acidity typical of Barbera. Full and enveloping structure, long and persistent finish with toasted nuances that enhance its elegance.

Food Pairings

Perfect with braised meats, roasts, and grilled red meats, it also pairs elegantly with game and aged cheeses. Excellent for enhancing spicy and richly flavoured dishes. Serve at 16–18 °C after a brief decanting.
