Barolo DOCG “Marchese Dalmasso”

The Barolo DOCG “Marchese Dalmasso” represents the pinnacle of Piedmont’s winemaking tradition: a wine of extraordinary elegance and complexity, long known as the “King of Wines”. Made exclusively from Nebbiolo grown in the Langhe hills, it embodies history, craftsmanship, and the unique character of its terroir.

Tasting Notes

  • Color: Intense and brilliant garnet, hinting at depth and richness.

  • Aroma: Small red fruits, candied cherries, and jams blend with floral notes of wilted rose and violet; fine spices of cinnamon, black pepper, and nutmeg; with evolution, tertiary scents of vanilla, cocoa, tobacco, and leather emerge.

  • Taste: Full and harmonious, with silky yet structured tannins, vibrant freshness, and perfect balance. Long, refined, and persistent finish.

Extraordinary with roasted meats, braised dishes, and game, it pairs perfectly with dishes enriched with truffle and with aged cheeses with intense flavor. Ideal for grand occasions or as a meditation wine, it shows its best after decanting and served at 18–20 °C.
